Workplaces to appoint Confined Space Safety Assessor (CSSA):

To test the atmosphere of the confined space prior to entry of any person into the confined space.

 

Our services of Confined Space Safety Assessor (CSSA) includes:

  1. Use a suitable and properly calibrated instrument to test the atmosphere.
  2. Conduct test in the following sequence:
    • test for level of oxygen content
    • test for level of flammable gas or vapour
    • test for level of toxic gas or vapour
  3. Conduct test in a manner that will not endanger himself or others.
  4. Record the results of the test in the confined space entry permit.
  5. Endorse the application for the confined space entry permit when satisfied that the entry into or work in a confined space can be carried out in due regard to safety and health of persons who enter or works in a confined space.
